1. In (ইন) – মধ্যে / ভিতরে / কোনো সময়

• in the room (রুমে) → The boy is in the room.
  (ছেলেটি রুমে আছে।)
• in the box (বাক্সের ভিতরে) → The toy is in the box.
  (খেলনাটি বাক্সের ভিতরে আছে।)
• in summer (গ্রীষ্মে) → We travel in summer.

• in 2026 (২০২৬ সালে) → He will graduate in 2026.
  (সে ২০২৬ সালে গ্র্যাজুয়েট করবে।)
• in the morning (সকালে) → I study in the morning.

2. On (অন) – উপর / দিন / তারিখ

• on the table (টেবিলের উপর) → The book is on the table.
  (বইটি টেবিলের উপর আছে।)
• on Monday (সোমবারে) → We have a class on Monday.
  (আমাদের সোমবার ক্লাস আছে।)
• on Friday (শুক্রবারে) → He will come on Friday.
  (সে শুক্রবার আসবে।)
• on time (সময়মতো) → She arrived on time.
  (সে সময়মতো পৌঁছেছে।)
• on TV (টিভিতে) → I watched the news on TV.

3. At (অ্যাট) – নির্দিষ্ট সময় / জায়গা

• at school (স্কুলে) → The students are at school.
  (শিক্ষার্থীরা স্কুলে আছে।)
• at home (বাড়িতে) → My mother is at home.
  (আমার মা বাড়িতে আছেন।)
• at 5 o’clock (৫টায়) → The meeting starts at 5 o’clock.
  (মিটিং ৫টায় শুরু হয়।)
• at night (রাতে) → I sleep at night.

4. To (টু) – দিকে / গন্তব্যে

• to school (স্কুলে) → She goes to school every day.
  (সে প্রতিদিন স্কুলে যায়।)
• to market (বাজারে) → I went to market yesterday.
  (আমি গতকাল বাজারে গিয়েছিলাম।)
• to Dhaka (ঢাকায়) → He moved to Dhaka.
  (সে ঢাকায় চলে গেছে।)
• to hospital (হাসপাতালে) → Take him to hospital.
  (তাকে হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাও।)

 

5. From (ফ্রম) – থেকে

• from Dhaka (ঢাকা থেকে) → He came from Dhaka.
  (সে ঢাকা থেকে এসেছে।)
• from school (স্কুল থেকে) → I returned from school.
  (আমি স্কুল থেকে ফিরেছি।)
• from morning (সকাল থেকে) → It has been raining from morning.

6. For (ফর) – জন্য

7. With (উইথ) – সাথে / দ্বারা

8. By (বাই) – দ্বারা / মাধ্যমে
